Annual Maintenance In-Service Inclusion

During the month of March any career may submit a written request to be tested for Maintenance Craft eligibility ratings for occupational groups excluding NST ET 11. Starting April 1, 2023 on an Annual basis, employee names on the preceding year's in-service registers shall be purged with exception of employee on the register whom must submit a written request to the MSS Coordinator during the preceding month of March requesting to remain on the in-service register. Maintenance Craft vacant positions shall be fill in accordance to the Collective Bargaining Agreement Article 38 with details starting on pg 203 (PDF pg 215) 2021-2024 CBA and Q&A (APWU Page).

PSHB Open Season Extended

November 11 - December 13, 2024

After the initial opening of the enrollement period, many Postal Employees and Retirees faced many issues and challeges during the enrollment process details on APWU Website Link.

This extension is only for PSHB Program and DOES NOT extend all other benefit programs that ends on December 9th according to OPM Website such as FEDVIP, FEGLI, FLTCIP.

It is also expected that FSA Open Season elections would also end on December 9th even after the changes in the plan administrator from FSAFEDs to Inspira Financial according USPS News Link Page. National APWU Leadership will continue to monitor these changes, details on APWU Website Link.
